CASTELLO DI SEMIVICOLI | WINE RESORT MASCIARELLI

The wedding was held in the Baronial Castle of Semivicoli in San Martino sulla Marrucina - Chieti, Abruzzo, Italy, a building built between the 17th and 18th centuries and renovated by the Masciarelli family famous for its wines appreciated throughout the world.

The bride and groom got ready inside the historic residence.

The religious ceremony was held in the church overlooking the palace.

The reception and party in the rooms of the Castle on the main floor and in the former oil mill, now a reception room.

I particularly love this work because it is representative of the real Italian wedding, far away from foreign stereotypes: around a hundred guests, historic location, tailored suits, handmade jewellery, refined Italian food and above all top-notch wine. There is no specific theme, in Italian weddings it is not considered in good taste: sobriety is synonymous with elegance.
