Elizabeth and Devin first met on the dating app Bumble in February 2020. After sending a few messages to each other on the app, the two exchanged phone numbers and agreed to go on a date at a Arlington, Virgina hotspot called Ambar. Even though Elizabeth was extremely nervous the entire date, Devin could tell there was something endearing about her, and both of them wanted to see each other again. Elizabeth and Devin went on a few more dates and their connection began to grow. But COVID had other ideas for the two leading Elizabeth to head up North to Pennsylvania to stay with her parents during the course of the first couple months of the pandemic, putting the two at a crossroads: Would Elizabeth and Devin stop talking or continue to get to know one another virtually? But, as the days got tougher and the quarantine lockdown dealt more blows, something amazing happened: Elizabeth and Devin began to FaceTime every single night forming an everlasting bond between the two. Once Elizabeth returned to the Washington, D.C. area in May 2020, Devin asked her to officially be his girlfriend. And, almost two years later, on December 11, 2021, Devin asked Elizabeth to marry him and the rest is history!
