Julia Jardim is a film photographer based in Amsterdam, predominantly working in the Netherlands and the UK. Specializing in Weddings and Family portraits, she employs both 35mm and medium format film, utilizing a photojournalistic style to craft images that are distinctive, genuine, and unconventional.

Originally from Brazil, Julia spent her early years there before living in Portugal and London, eventually settling in Amsterdam. She now resides with her wife, Joana, and their small rescue dog, Caju. The rich tapestry of her diverse experiences is seamlessly reflected in her photographic approach.

As a queer artist, Julia is dedicated to fostering a safe and inclusive environment in her work, ensuring that everyone feels welcomed in front of her lens.

No two people have ever loved in the same way - this is what I hope my images will convey.
